Event Overview

As wealth among Chinese families across the Asia-Pacific region continues to grow rapidly, the priorities of high-net-worth families have evolved beyond traditional wealth management to encompass business succession, wealth preservation and inheritance, cross-border planning, and family governance. Establishing a more professional, institutionalized, and resilient family office structure has therefore become an increasingly important priority for both families and professional advisors.

The 1st Asia-Pacific Family Office Forum, held in Taipei on August 28, brought together government representatives, family office leaders, and professional advisors from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and China. The Forum provided a platform for in-depth discussions on emerging trends in the Asia-Pacific family office landscape, cross-border legal and tax structures, trust planning, and asset allocation strategies.

Through keynote presentations, practical case studies, roundtable discussions, and exclusive VIP networking sessions, the Forum was dedicated to creating an international platform that combines global perspectives with practical insights. It aimed to help family representatives and industry professionals better understand the latest developments in family governance and global wealth structuring, while collectively shaping a new chapter for wealth succession across the Asia-Pacific region.
